HHS IB Careers Programme (CP)
The CP is a framework of international education that incorporates the values of the IB into a unique programme addressing the needs of students engaged in career-related education. The programme leads to further/higher education, apprenticeships or employment. Find out more about the CP.
Students begin to consider an ethical dilemma in a so-called Wild Career first, building analysis skills before developing one for their own Reflective Project paper. Here is a 'chef' group considering the problem of free-loading friends who are taking advantage of the chef's generosity.

A rising junior will choose Careers Program when the student knows which career s/he wishes to pursue, and when s/he needs more flexibility in the junior year.
The CORE class for CP students ensures that each certificate awarded symbolizes completion of ... (1) a Service Project demonstrating the student's heart for the community, (2) a Reflective Project demonstrating knowledge of ethics in a chosen career, (3) Language Development such that the student's career is enhanced and (4) development of Personal and Professional Skills. |
