HHS IB Diploma Programme (DP)
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme, has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.

At Heights, students choose to enter the Diploma Program when they are willing to work very hard in order to prepare for college or university. The Theory of Knowledge core class sets a decidedly intellectual tone, requiring students to develop their critical thinking skills. Not only do students encounter big philosophical ideas in a fun environment, they leave HHS ready to articulate their own point of view, listen to others, and refine their positions. Our students never cease to amaze us.

We enjoy each other here at Heights. Our community is tight-knit and fun-loving.
We also do our very best to cooperate as an IB team, so that we can support our students for success in all elements of the DP. In addition to a full course of rigorous classes, all HHS IB DP Programme students are required to complete the Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS). |
